Physical and Health Education Statement

constructive attitudes, values, and behaviours that will help them to manage co-operative and individual competitive sports environments
skills for identifying and critiquing the contributions that science, technology, and the environment make to sporting performances
the skills to identify and discuss the social and cultural significance that sport has for individuals and for society
Sports programmes are developed in partnership with clubs and other community groups and involve interschool and club competitions.
Students take part in the following areas of learning as part of our health education programme:

We do not currently teach sexual health as part of our Health and Physical Education Curriculum. We will continue to reflect on the health needs of our students and use input from our community and the Ministry of Education to guide our decisions around this curriculum area.
