OUR PRINCIPAL
Kia Ora and welcome to Tapu School. We are an amazing little school where students enjoy learning beside the seaside. We endeavour to give all our students a solid foundation in Literacy and Numeracy as well as the other areas that make up the New Zealand Curriculum.
Ideally situated beside and with access to the Firth of Thames, we have worked hard to create a great family feel to the school. This is often commented on and is evident in the way students support and look out for each other both on the campus and when we are out and about in the community. We all look out for each other.
I am fortunate to be the Principal here and to work alongside a dedicated staff who all have the best interests of the students at the heart of all they do. We believe that together we have created a positive environment where we can help develop our learners to be resilient, caring and confident.
